Real Madrid Castilla striker Mariano was promoted to the first team for the 2016-17 season and got off the mark during his side's 3-2 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
For the reserves last season, Mariano scored 25 goals, making him the division's top scorer.
Along with the likes of Marco Asensio, Enzo Zidane and Marcos Llorente, Mariano will be hoping to work his way into the plans of his manager for the 2016-17 campaign.
