Chicharito, Memo Ochoa and company loose market value
After the World Cup, some of the players like Chicharito or the Dos Santos brothers of the National Team decreased their market value in comparison with past years.
After the World Cup where Mexico didn't do anything different than before, the international players went back with their respective clubs to focus on their goals with them.
For those who play outside of Mexico, there are some fighting for minutes while others keep growing game after game. However, some of them that have lost their market value after Russia 2018.
Javier Hernández
The list is lead by Chicharito Hernández, who during the summer had a market value of 15 million euros but in the last few months, that value decreased to 12 million.
His inconsistency with West Ham has a lot to do with his value lost. There was a time when Chicharito's was at Bayern Leverkusen when his market value was around 25 million euros.
Diego Reyes and Marco Fabián
Diego Reyes is practically forgotten at Fenerbahçe. His market value went from five million euros to three million, the lowest it's been since arriving in Europe.
Marco Fabián is not even taken on account with Eintracht Frankfurt and has been months since he last played. The reason behind his low market value that at some point reached seven million euros.
Giovani y Jonathan Dos Santos
The Dos Santos brothers also lost their market value after the World Cup. It has a lot to do with his move to LA Galaxy and the fact that both have failed to become stars in the MLS. Gio went from 2.75 million to two million while Jonathan went from 3.75 to 3.5 million euros.
Guillermo Ochoa
The Mexican National Team goalkeeper was worth four million euros during the World Cup. But perhaps due to his age his value decreased to 3.5 million, even though he's considered one of the best goalies of the tournament.
