Fernando Morientes thinks Diego Lainez could fit in Real Madrid
Former Real Madrid striker believes that the young Mexican player from Real Betis has enough qualities to one day arrive with the 'whites.'
Former Real Madrid striker, Fernando Morientes, at a La Liga press conference highlighted the qualities of the Mexican Diego Lainez, who currently plays with the Spanish team, Real Betis.
"I know he's a great player; that's why he came to La Liga; we expect lots from him because he adapts very well to the league Lainez is a very competitive player."
Morientes jokingly mention that Lainez would fit perfectly at Real Madrid "If he scores 50 goals," adding that the Mexicans that have landed in the Spanish league always leave great sensations.
The Spanish legend also adviced Lainez to seek for regularity to stand out in Spain, taking as example Hugo Sánchez who shine with the 'merengues' in the 80s.
Morientes concluded that due to his regularity, Sánchez scored every year, something that each player in that position should do to become strong in the league, not just Lainez but any foreigner and Spanish player too.
