Han "Peanut" Wang-ho statement on how does it feel to be the best Lee Sin of the tournament and of the world

SK Telecom's starting jungler Han "Peanut" Wang-ho, was recently asked at the fourth day’s press conference of the Mid-Season Invitational about how does it feel to be the best Lee Sin of the tournament and of the world. Undoubtedly, this question came as a result of his incredible performance against Gigabyte Marines. Just a day before, Peanut was the protagonist of the match against the Vietnamese with his Lee Sin, assassinating 14 opponents in just 11 minutes and ending the game with an outstanding KDA of 15/2/5 in 28 minutes.

This way, in a match with rather chaotic features that dragged SKT out of their routine of clean and smooth games, Peanut was the one who benefited the most from this bloodbath breaking a new record.

"In the games that I have picked Lee Sin at MSI, we just were fortunate enough to have a snowbally game and that's where I got a lot of kills. And, since I play a lot of solo ranked, I think I have practiced enough Lee Sin mechanics. I am confident that I actually have the best Lee Sin because of that," explained Peanut.

The young jungler is in a streak of 15 consecutive victories with Lee Sin in official matches and, according to esportswikis, out of the 33 games that he has played it in his career, he has only lost 6, accumulating a KDA of 6.97 and a win ratio of 81.8%.

The mechanics required to optimally play Lee Sin are hard to master and, when he was asked about one tip for learning this champion in a recent interview by Eefje "Sjokz" Depoortere, Peanut stated that he doesn't think that there is an special advice, "just play 500 games of Lee Sin, then you will get the hang of it." Nevertheless, his performances denote an underlying talent that makes him outstand since his stage in ROX Tigers.

Lee is also the champion that he has played professionally the most and his best one. So far in the Mid-Season Invitational he has picked it in 4 out of the 10 matches and he conquered with this champion the 2017 LCK spring split and won the MVP award in both the final and the playoffs.

As a sidenote, he is currently the player with the highest KDA of the tournament (6.1) — tied with Flash Wolves’ jungler Hung "Karsa" Hau-Hsuan.

Peanut's next test will precisely be against Flash Wolves, one of only two teams that has demonstrated at the MSI the ability to cause problems to Kkoma’s squad. For more than a year now, the Taiwanese club is the Achilles heel of the Koreans. However, SKT’s marksman Bae "Bang" Jun-sik has acknowledged not to fear them: "I think we did not take our loss too heavily against Flash Wolves and actually we just would like to face them again in the bracket stages to proves ourselves," he stated. Whatever is Flash Wolves's strategy to try to defeat SKT again, it is clear that they should not let Lee Sin fall into Peanut’s hands.
