The 5 best and worst players in SoloQ of the EU LCS
Find out the pro players that have worked the hardest in the European solitary queue
Welcome once again to the section where we analyze the European pro-players SoloQ's based on Elometer.info data. This week we'll see players with the most ELO per position, but we'll also take a look at the bottom five.
The ideal quintet has not changed since last week. These five players remain at the top of the challenger ladder. If in the last week's article we highlighted Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Scharge and Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir, this week we highlight Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun, the support of Misfits.
The 20-year-old South Korean has dazzled since his arrival in Europe. He has shown an amazing synergy with his partner in the bottom lane, Steven "Hans Sama" Liv, one of the region's rough diamonds.
After seeing actions like the one shown in the video above - performed in his debut match in the LCS - no one can deny that he is a really proactive player, one of the keys to triumph in the pro scene. Furthermore, the variety of champions that he can play at a high level doesn't seem to reach an end, he has played 8 different champions in the 14 games played so far, showing no problem to adapt to metagame. As for his Solo Queue performance, he proves to be super competitive. Some time ago he changed his nickname to "Going to rank 1" and in just a couple of weeks he got rank 3 in the EUW ladder.
Another thing that the Elometer brings us every week is the "ELO is for wannabes" team. A roster in which are included the players with the worst classification in SoloQ of each position.
Some of the players that we can find on this team are to be expected according to their performance so far in the LCS. We do not want to point anyone out, Satorius. But surely no one would have expected to find here Zven, the marksman of G2 Esports, considered by the majority the best European adc - and it is not only opinions that endorse him. Some data, although a bit shallow, support his individual quality as a competitor. He is the best farmer in his position with 9.3 creeps per minute and has an astonishing 8.7 KDA.
So, how can Zven be the worst marksman in SoloQ? There are several explanations. Maybe the Danish player does not give any importance to these ranked matches and he just plays for fun. He maybe prefers not to reach the Challenger level so he can continue duoing with his partner in the bottom lane (the canarian support Mithy). And, it may also that, let's not fool ourselves, the Elometer has not found yet any of his hidden accounts (smurfs) and we are just rambling.
