Yiliang Doublelift Peng is one of the most popular players in League of Legends history thanks to his outstanding and lengthy career. However, Team SoloMids marksman decided to take a break from competitive gaming for the upcoming 2017 Spring Split and he may not come back from his retirement, even though he doesnt plan on retiring at least for the moment.

In the press conference that was held on Thursday after the All-Star one versus one tournament, Diario AS asked the marksman about Jason Wildturtle Trans comeback to Team SoloMid. Doublelift acknowledged that the initial response from the community, saying that the team does not care about winning, made him sad. I think that TSM is going to do well without me just because the teams core is really strong: top side is really good and Vincent Biofrost Wang is a really good rookie, he said.

However, the most interesting part of Doublelift response was what he said about his current life as a streamer. I actually enjoy streaming a lot more than I thought I would, just like the life that I have, its really nice. So Ill come back if they need me, but Im kind of hoping that, you know, I can be successful doing my own thing and they can be successful without me. I dont want to like wish them to do badly so I can come back. So, yeah, Im pretty happy with my stuff right now and just hoping that TSM can do well, he said.
