MLS players dominate the best XI of the Concachampions

Although most of the MLS teams are no longer at the CONCACAF Champions League, at the hands of Liga MX clubs, the Americans dominated the ideal lineup.

After the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League where three of the four MLS teams got eliminated, the ideal XI was selected, and despite not reaching the next round, the American dominated the lineup.

Six MLS players appear in the ideal team of the quarter-finals, for just four players from the Liga MX, with the addition of a Central American player.

Forwards

Gerso Fernández, Krisztian Németh, and Josef Martínez form the attack line; the first two are from Sporting Kansas City and the last from Atlanta United, Németh scored two goals, while the Venezuelan scored the only goal for his team against Monterrey.

Midfielders

The Honduran Roger Espinoza that scored with Kansas City and Darlington Nagbe that gave an assist with Atlanta United are from the MLS.

While for Liga MX are: Brian Lozano who made a double with Santos and Deinner Quiñónes who gave two assists with Santos.

Defenders

There are two players from the Liga MX José Abella of Santos that scored a goal, and also Carlos Salcedo, who scored the only goal in the Tigres victory. For the MLS appears Graham Zusi of Kansas City.

Goalie

The Panamanian Jose Guerra appears after an outstanding performance, despite the elimination of Club Atlético Independiente.
