LA Galaxy has a negative balance when Ibrahimovic doesn't play
Zlatan will miss his second match of the tournament due to injury, but Los Angeles team suffers when the striker is not there, accumulating more losses than victories.
Now that Zlatan Ibrahimovic won't be available for the second week in a row, the bad news for the LA Galaxy keeps coming their way.
The Swedish striker missed the game against FC Dallas due to discomfort in his Achilles tendon, a reason why Zlatan will miss his second straight game when LA Galaxy faces Minnesota United.
This will be the ninth match that the Galaxy captain won't play since arriving with the team in 2018 which come as bad news for the squad since they have a negative balance when they are without their star.
Negative balance without Zlatan
Of the eight games Zlatan has missed, LA Galaxy has only been able to win three against San José Earthquakes (1-0), New England Revolution (3-2) and FC Golden State Force (3-1) at the fourth round of the US Open Cup, for one draw vs. Vancouver Whitecaps (0-0) at the beginning of last season.
And has four losses against Colorado Rapids (2-1), Seattle Sounders FC (5-0), Portland Timbers (1-0) and Dallas FC (2-0).
The LA team suffers a lot in offense scoring only eight goals while receiving a total of 12 without Zlatan. Right now they have one loss against FC Dallas from last week, the second game of the 2019 MLS season.
