El support finlandés Aleksi “Hiiva” Kaikkonen podría ya no formar parte de Origen. La noticia, aunque todavía no ha sido confirmada por el propio club, se ha desvelado por la base de datos de contratos de Riot Games. Hasta el día de hoy el jugador que acompañaba a Erik “Tabzz” van Helvert en la calle inferior de Origen ha desaparecido esta madrugada de la lista de jugadores europeos con contrato.
Hiiva fichó por el club español en enero de este año, tras la salida del neerlandés Glenn “Hybrid” Doornenbal, y ha disputado doce partidas en la que ha sido su segunda experiencia en la LCS europea. Aunque su primer paso por la competición fue todavía más efímero al disputar solo dos partidas con Gambit en 2014, el finlandés es un veterano jugador de Challenger Series, en la que ha militado con equipos como Gamers2, ahora renombrado a G2 Esports, o Denial. Su paso por Origen ha tenido más pena que gloria, ya que ha perdido todas las partidas que ha jugado, acumulando un KDA inferior a uno y siendo el jugador que más ha muerto en la LCS europea.
Este es el primero de los posibles cambios que Origen anunció que haría. Como ya adelantó AS, la posición de support será una de las que van a tener un nuevo inquilino en lo que resta de split. Es de esperar que en los próximos días el club español anuncie el resto de cambios.
