Robben looking to reach the MLS by the end of his Bayern contract
The Dutch striker ends his contract with Bayern Munich in the summer, so he will be free to choose where to play. Robben prefers the MLS over Inter Milan.
Arjen Robben announced that he would leave Bayern Munich at the end of the 2018/19 season after the end of his contract with the Bavarian club. The Dutch player that spent ten seasons in the Bundesliga is ready to move on, and rumors set him at Inter Milan or the MLS.
According to calciomercato.com Robben could agree to reach the American league, since he's at the end of his career and could start thinking about retirement. Besides becoming a free agent at the end of the current season which makes him available for the Primary and Secondary MLS Transfer Window up until August 30th as clubs can sign free agents until the roster freeze date.
Robben's career
The Dutch debuted in 2001 with Groningen before moving to PSV a year later. His quality gained him a place with Chelsea and the Premier League in 2004 where he became one of the most dangerous players on the right wing, staying for three campaigns.
In 2007 Robben reached one of the biggest teams in the world, Real Madrid, but his performance wasn't what everyone expected, and in 2009 he moved to Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga where he has been ever since.
With the Netherlands National Team, Arjen Robben played 96 games and scoring 37 times. He was part of three Wolrd Cups: Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014 (15 games, 6 goals, and 6 assists).
