6 Horas de Fuji. Y una semana. 14 de octubre en lugar del 21. Esta es la principal novedad que el WEC ha presentado para la supertemporada que comenzará el 5 de mayo del 2018 con las 6 Horas de Spa y concluirá el 8 de junio del 2019 con las 24 Horas de Le Mans.
Un cambio para favorecer la presencia de Fernando Alonso en la prueba nipona, ya que la fecha inicial coincida con el Gran Premio de Estados Unidos de Fórmula 1, que ha generado un importante rechazo en las redes sociales por parte de algunos de los participantes del campeonato.
I am just SORRY for all of the drivers who will have to miss Petit or Fuji due to this ridiculous date change. I hope @FIAWEC still remembers Endurance is a TEAM SPIRIT sport and is not a single individual who does the show! 😉
So if you do the math, 1 WEC Alonso at fuji is worth 15-20 NAEC Conflicts at Petite. They must have a lot of faith that Alonso will resurrect P1 singlehandedly. 7 P2 cars? Things are way too expensive... time for a market correction in racing.
