"Quiero decir, Draymond (Green) hace un poco de todo. Evidentemente (hemos echado de menos), su capacidad para crear juego, su rebote, su manera de comunicar, su corazón y su alma. Así que le hemos echado mucho de menos. Pero no es excusa. Aun así hemos tenido opciones de ganar el partido", dijo Klay Thompson (37 puntos) cuando le preguntaron por la baja del ala-pívot, que se perdió el quinto encuentro tras ser suspendido por acumulación de flagrantes.

Stephen Curry quiso dejar claro también que el partido de sus rivales fue espectacular. 

"Hay que quitarse el sombrero con ellos. Han tenido una gran noche, anotando tiros complicados y tiros abiertos. Han hecho lo que tenían que hacer para ayudar a que su equipo ganara el partido", apuntó el MVP, que se fue hasta los 25 puntos (5-14 en los triples), pero estuvo lejos de tener el impacto de su pareja de baile (Irving).
