La Superbowl no es sólo un partido de fútbol americano. Es una religión en Estados Unidos y todo la actividad cotidiana para como la NBA, que no tuvo encuentros durante esta madrugada para dar paso al Carolina Panthers-Denver Broncos. Los jugadores de la Liga estadounidense eligieron bando, pero nadie de tal forma como Stephen Curry. El base de los Golden State Warriors, fiel aficionado del equipo de Carolina, vivió en directo la 50ª edición de la Superbowl y fue uno de los grandes protagonista.
El actual MVP hizo sonar el Keep Pounding, el tambor ceremonial de los Panthers, mientras los jugadores corrían hacia el campo del Levi's Stadium. Tras golpearlo en tres ocasiones, levantó los brazos al cielo y gritó "¡Vamos!".
