Alex Morgan is pure history with the United States Women's Soccer Team, as the striker reached 100 goals with the Stars and Stripes team on Thursday.

The USWNT faced the Australian National team in a friendly match at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and barely 14 minutes in Morgan opened the score, coming in from the right wing to shoot, leaving goalkeeper Williams with no chance.

Morgan has scored 18 goals in 19 games and was named the 2018 Player of the Year in the United States. She now has a special place in the history of American women's soccer.

Joining the select group

Alex Morgan became just the seventh player to reach 100 goals with the US Women's National Team. Tiffeny Milbrett, Michelle Akers, Kristine Lilly, Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, and Carli Lloyd are the ones to have already reached this number before. An impressive Club 100.
