The first record he needs to break
Zlatan will have to become the player with the most goals in one season, a record that belongs to Atlanta United striker, the Venezuelan Josef Martínez, who scored 31 goals in 2018. Ibrahimovic will have at hand the difficult task of scoring at least 32 goals this season to achieve it.
How did his first campaign go?
The Swedish striker had a great debut in his first season, playing 27 games with 24 as a starter; he scored 22 goals and gave ten assists becoming a reference in the LA Galaxy attack, but unfortunately, Zlatan failed to take the team all the way into playoffs.
