At just 18 years of age, the American striker Timothy Weah is living his dream as a professional footballer. This Saturday he had the opportunity to debut with a goal defending Scotland's Celtic FC shirt.

A few days ago the Paris Saint-Germain decided to loan him to the Scottish team so that he could have more minutes of play, and it looks like it was the right decision for him to seek new horizons.

Celtic FC manager, Brendan Rodgers decided to call him up for the Scottish cup match on Saturday against the Airdrieonians. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Celtic. Tim Weah made his debut with Celtic at the 68 minutes.

His goal came in the 83rd minute after a pass filtered from the midfield, Weah anticipated the defenders and safely entered the area to later define with a right cross-shot.

After the game Weah said: "It's an amazing feeling. I was really honored and blessed to get this goal in front of all the fans. I kissed the badge because that's how grateful I am to be here".

Tim Weah's time in Scotland has started with the right foot. His goal will help him to improve his confidence in front of the net. To keep playing will be important to be taken into account by the United States National Team.
