The agreement between América and Real Betis for the transfer of Mexican Diego Lainez it's official.

The Verdiblanco club is set to finalize the hiring of the 18-year-old player who will travel to Spain on Thursday night with Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, president of the Spanish team.

He is expected to arrive in Seville soon to close his contract. After both team Club América and Real Betis announced the transfer of the Mexican International.

The presence of Serra Ferrer and Federico Martínez Feria in the Aztec capital, personally leading the negotiations with the directors of the Mexico City Club as well as with the player's family, finally convinced the Mexican midfielder and his family to give their long-awaited leap to European football with the League of Spain.

Andrés Guardado who plays for the Andalusian team was also a key piece in convincing the left-handed attacker to reach Real Betis to become the first winter signing for Quique Setién's team.
