El exjugador del United Liam Miller fallece a los 36 años
El irlandés falleció este viernes a causa de un cáncer de páncreas que le fue diagnosticado el pasado mes de noviembre.
El excentrocampista del Manchester United y de la República de Irlanda Liam Miller ha fallecido este viernes a los 36 años de edad después de una dura batalla contra un cáncer de páncreas que le fue diagnosticado el pasado mes de noviembre.
Miller abandonó Estados Unidos cuando recibió la noticia y regresó a Cork, donde ha pasado los últimos meses.
El irlandés se inició en el Celtic de Glasgow y allí ganó una liga escocesa. Después aterrizó en Old Trafford y allí pasó una temporada antes de comenzar su andadura por varios clubes de la Premier como el Leeds, Sunderland y Queens Park Rangers.
También fue internacional en 21 ocasiones por la selección de Irlanda. Su último periplo a nivel profesional fue en Australia donde militó en el Perth Glory y el Brisbane Roar.
El futbol británico se encuentra conmocionado por el fallecimiento del exfutbolista y las muertas de apoyo están legando desde todos los rincones.
