Jaycee Carroll, nombrado mejor triplista universitario del siglo
La NCAA ha analizado los tiros de tres lanzados en lo que va de siglo XXI y el jugador del Real Madrid ha sido considerado como el mejor.
La NCAA ha publicado recientemente un estudio con los que ellos han considerado como mejores tiradores exteriores de lo que va de siglo.
Daniel Wilco, el encargado de hacerlo, ha considerado dos criterios para ello: que el jugador esté entre los 250 con más tiros y con mejor porcentaje y que el jugador haya lanzado un mínimo de doscientos tiros. Esto arroja como resultado que salgan un total de 77 jugadores en la clasificación final.
Jaycee Carroll lidera la tabla. El jugador del Real Madrid, que recientemente se ha metido dentro del top-10 de triplistas históricos de la Liga Endesa, tiene mejor ratio que, por ejemplo, uno de los mejores tiradores de la historia: Stephen Curry.
En el ránking se encuentran conocidos de la NBA como Kyle Korver o J.J. Redick, de la ACB como Jimmy Baron, Chris Lofton, Brian Roberts o Kevin Pangos, otros actuales como Bryn Forbes o Ian Clark, el joven español Francis Alonso...
