Los Boston Celtics se fueron hasta los 19 aciertos desde la línea de tres puntos en la noche del viernes para vencer en un partido difícil a los Philadelphia 76ers de Joel Embiid. Los visitantes ganaban hasta por 14 en la primera mitad y se fueron arriba al descanso antes de que los locales igualaran el partido. Isaiah Thomas anotó 24 puntos, Avery Bradley 26 y Al Horford no falló en el momento más importante del partido.

Duelo de pívots

Joel Embiid dejó 23 puntos, ocho rebotes, tres asistencias, dos tapones, dos mates bestiales y dos tiros libres a 28 segundos del final que ponían a los suyos dos arriba. Pero hay pocos jugadores en esta Liga tan fiables como Al Horford  (19+12+4+2) en los compases finales. El buen movimiento de balón de los Celtics hizo que el dominicano tuviera un triple franco desde la esquina y éste no falló. Ese tiro vale el partido.

TJ. McConnell repartió 17 asistencias, más que ningún otro Sixers desde Andre Miller en 2008 (ESPN). Buenos minutos también de Nerlens Noel (13+8).
