Andrew Wiggins se fue hasta los 41 puntos, anotando 25 en la segunda mitad de un partido en el que a su equipo le volvió a fallar la ejecución en los instantes finales. Otro partido igualado y otra derrota de unos jóvenes Minnesota Timberwolves que ya han perdido un total de 25 partidos en lo que va de temporada.

John Wall fue un perfecto director de orquesta para el equipo local y acabó el encuentro con 18 tantos y 18 pases de canasta, los dos últimos decisivos para Beal (triple) y Gortat (bandeja).

Con el triunfo, los Wizards se quedan de nuevo a una victoria del 50% (17-18) y ya han ganado nueve partidos seguidos en el Verizon Center de la capital estadounidense.

Ricky Rubio disputó 34 minutos, anotó cuatro puntos, capturó cinco rebotes y repartió siete pases de canasta.
