Reporter: I don’t know whether you had time during your summer holidays to hear Jürgen Klopp’s comments in which he spoke about the move involving you and Mo Salah in the Champions League final. His comments were not very flattering – he more or less said that you are a dirty player. I don’t know whether you have anything to say to him or whether you think it’s normal that such an incident is still being talked about two and a half months later.

Ramos: I don’t want to add more fuel to the fire because there was a lot of repercussions after what happened and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I gave mine at the time and I’ll repeat it now: at no point did I grab anyone’s arm, he grabbed my arm first and after that, it was a battle for the ball. I never had any intention to harm another fellow player. Maybe Klopp’s words might, for him, justify not winning that final – but it’s not the first one he’s lost. He should concentrate on his own team and not be concerned about other players who have been performing to a very high level, let’s see if he can do the same as a coach. And by the way, I actually voted for him as one of the best coaches of the year and I hope he hears that and feels a little more relaxed.
