Álvaro Morata tied the knot in Venice this Saturday with his Italian girlfriend Alice Campello. The service took place in the imposing Redentor Chuch on the island of Giudecca, with the happy couple arriving by boat through the canals of the city.

Footballers Isco Alarcón, Pablo Sarabia, Alex Fernández and Nacho Fernández were in attendance for the wedding between the Real Madrid footballer and the model and marketing student. The couple met in 2016 as Morata's spell at Juventus was coming to an end, when the player sent Campello a direct message on Instagram that the model finally replied to after deciding to ignore the advice of her father to "stay away from footballers".

Morata and Campello are donating the value of all the wedding gifts they receive to a child cancer association.
