Vintage video: Romário's first season highlights at PSV

The prolific Brazilian striker Romário arrived in the Eredivisie ahead of the 1988-89 season and immediately announced his skill with some classic goals.

Now a senator in Rio de Janeiro, Romário was the third-highest scorer in Canarinha history, behind only Pelé and Ronaldo.

Romário finally retired in 2009 after a career spanning more than two decades.
