Timberwolves dent Golden State Warriors' record hopes

The Golden State Warriors lost their ninth game of the season on Tuesday night, throwing away a 15-point lead against the Minnesota Timberwolves, a young talented team that is just 26-52 this season.

The loss threatens the Warriors’ run at the regular season record for NBA wins, sitting 69-9 with four games remaining, two against the Spurs and two against the Grizzlies.

They must win out in order to capture the record, which was set by the ’95-’96 Bulls team, which was 72-10.

Scottie Pippin had a strong opinion about this Golden State side, saying his '95-'96 Bulls team would sweep a series against them.
