Official: Philadelphia announces Marco Fabian as its new 10

The Mexican midfielder and former Eintracht Frankfur player, becomes the reinforcement of the MLS team for the 2019 season, which begins next March.

To no one surprise, the Philadelphia Union have officially announced the signing of Mexican International, Marco Fabián.

The MLS team have filled their attacking midfielder void, and Marquito Fabián will join Union's active roster once the team receives the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P1 Visa.

The 29-year-old attacking midfielder will arrive as a Designated Player and as a high-profile signing becoming the second Mexican-born player ever to join the Philadelphia Union after Christian Hernández.

Marco Fabián's career

Fabián has been part of Eintracht Frankfurt since January of 2016, during his first season had a total of seven goals and four assists. Last season the Mexican player also had a German Cup.

During his time in the Mexican League, he won the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League with Cruz Azul as well as the Apertura 2015 MX Cup with Chivas.

With the National team, Under-23s Marco Fabián won the Gold Medal in the 2012 London Olympics over Brazil.
