Tercer partido de una jornada increíblemente intensa en la NBA. Mientras en Oklahoma vibraban con el espectáculo de Westbrook (58 puntos) y en Dallas ovacionaban al gran Nowitzki (30.000 puntos), en Phoenix se empezaba a disputar uno de los partidos más curiosos de lo que va de temporada. Del +4 de los Suns al +20 de los Wizards, y de allí al +11 de los primeros para acabar en victoria de los segundos. Una montaña rusa en la que los Wizards lanzaron 53 tiros libres, récord NBA esta campaña, y en la que cinco jugadores superaron los veinte puntos: John Wall (25+14), Bradley Beal (27), Bojan Bogdanovic (29), Devin Booker (25) y Eric Bledsoe (30).

El triunfo en Arizona deja a los Wizards a solo un partido del segundo puesto de los Boston Celtics.

Bogdanovic, que no deja de brillar con el uniforme de la franquicia de la capital, batió un récord del equipo al anotar 16/16 desde la línea de personal.
