Blake Griffin cuajó un encuentro sensacional y acabó con 43 puntos que son su mejor marca de la temporada (10 rebotes, cinco asistencias, dos robos de balón). En los Clippers, además, Chris Paul se quedó a un rebote del triple-doble y repartió 17 asistencias sin pérdida, JJ Redick anotó 22 puntos y DeAndre Jordan sumó 20 tantos y 19 rebotes.

Los Hornets, que fueron capaces de forzar la prórroga cerrando el partido con un 5-0, perdieron un nuevo encuentro igualado pese a los 65 puntos que lograron entre Kemba Walker y Batum.
