Todos los ganadores de los MTV VMA´s 2020

La música comercial vivió ayer por la noche una de sus citas ineludibles de la temporada: los premios VMA's. La ceremonia de la MTV estuvo integralmente influenciada, como era de esperar, por la delicada situación que atraviesa Estados Unidos debido a la pandemia del coronavirus. Retransmitida desde cinco puntos al aire libre de distritos diferentes de Nueva York (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, el Bronx y Staten Island), la gala transcurrió marcada por la ausencia de un público mayoritario y por la 'presencia' destacada de lo pregrabado, el distanciamiento social y las mascarillas.

The Weekend, encargado de abrir las actuaciones con un potente espectáculo en lo alto de un rascacielos neoyorquino, se convirtió en el triunfador de la noche al hacerse con el codiciado premio a Mejor Vídeo del año por 'Blinding Lights'. Lady Gaga, reconocida como Mejor Artista, fue otra de las grandes protagonistas gracias a sus cinco premios y sus originales mascarillas. Miley Cyrus homenajeó en su actuación su célebre videoclip de 'Wrecking Ball', la banda de K-pop BTS debutó por todo lo alto en los premios cantando por primera vez su tema 'Dynamite' y Maluma fue el más destacado representante latino de la velada.
