Estos son los GOTY de Golden Joystick Awards 2021: lista de ganadores
Resident Evil 8 Village, It Takes Two, Ratchet and Clank Una Dimensión Aparte y más son los grandes vencedores de los Golden Joystick de este año.
La ceremonia de premiación de videojuegos Golden Joystick Awards 2021 ha dado a conocer la lista completa de ganadores de estos premios presentados por GamesRadar. Los reconocidos galardones británicos han determinado en su 39.ª gala (39th Annual Golden Joystick Awards) que Resident Evil 8 Village es el Mejor Juego del Año (GOTY, por sus siglas en inglés) tras recopilar “millones de votos”, asegura la organización.

Primero tuvimos los nominados, un listado de candidatos elegido por un panel de miembros de PC Gamer, EDGE, Retro Gamer, Play Magazine y Future Games Show con títulos publicados entre el 20 de noviembre de 2020 y el 19 de octubre de 2021 (se quedan fuera obras como Forza Horizon 5, Battlefield 2042, Halo Infinite…). Acto seguido, entre el 20 de octubre y el 5 de noviembre los lectores de todo el mundo han podido votar, y estos son los resultados de un método de votación completamente democrático donde toda la comunidad ha tenido voz.
El Game of the Year (GOTY) contó con diez candidatos, pero la obra de Capcom publicada a comienzos de curso se ha llevado la estatuilla de mayor reconocimiento. De este modo, Resident Evil Village se ha impuesto a Deathloop, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet and Clank: Una Dimensión Aparte, Wildermyth, Hitman 3, The Forgotten City, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread y Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Respecto al Ultimate Game of All Time, un galardón que ha buscado premiar al "mejor videojuego de todos los tiempos", el ganador ha sido Dark Souls, de FromSoftware.
