Preocupación por Shohei Ohtani: abandona el montículo por posible lesión en el codo
El lanzador japonés tuvo que abandonar el duelo contra los Reds por molestias en el brazo derecho tras lanzar tres entradas completas.
There’s growing concern in Los Angeles as Shohei Ohtani was forced to leave the mound Wednesday afternoon due to discomfort in his throwing arm.
The Japanese two-way superstar took the ball as the Dodgers’ starting pitcher against the Cincinnati Reds but was pulled in the fourth inning at Great American Ball Park with what appeared to be an elbow issue.

After giving up a single to Noelvi Marte in the fourth, Ohtani threw back-to-back wild pitches that allowed the Reds infielder to advance all the way to third. He then issued a walk to Tyler Stephenson, putting runners on the corners. That’s when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made the call to the bullpen, removing Ohtani as a team trainer walked him off the field. Lefty Anthony Banda came in to relieve.
