El tenista español Roberto Bautista no ha podido conquistar el título del torneo de Doha (Catar), de categoría ATP 250 y que se disputa sobre pista dura, después de caer este sábado en la final ante el georgiano Nikoloz Basilashvili (7-6(5), 6-2).

El castellonense, número 13 del mundo y ganador en Catar en 2019, fue incapaz de romper el servicio de su adversario durante el choque, y pierde así la oportunidad de alzar su décimo título ATP y el primero de 2021. Es la segunda final que pierde tras la de Montpellier contra Goffin.
