Jamie Cooke won the modern pentathlon with an stunning final sprint to take gold from Frenchman Valentin Prades who had already been celebrating victory.

"It's a dream come true, I’ve worked so hard for this. I was really struggling on that last lap and unfortunately my grandad died last week so that was for him." said Cooke.
Cooke becomes the first British athlete to win the modern pentathlon world title in 25 years.
