Sadio Mané opened the scoring from the penalty after Salah was fouled but just a few minutes later, Andreas Pereira pulled United back level with a wonderful free-kick curled into the top corner.
Shaqiri acrobatics
The two teams went in at the break level but the second half was all Liverpool. On 66 minutes, Shaqiri laid the ball off for Sturridge to drill a first-time strike past Joel Pereira. Eight minutes later, Ojo confidently tucked in from the spot to extend Liverpool's lead and Shaqiri put the icing on the cake with a splendid overhead kick to make it 1-4 on the whistle and compound the misery for José Mourinho's team who are still without a win so far this pre-season.
