The Brazil forward spoke about team mate Neymar who was forced to retire from Tuesday's training session after complaining of pains to his ankle.

It was Philippe Countinho's turn to face reporters on Tuesday and one of the first questions put to the Barcelona player concerned Neymar, who hobbled out of the session with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

“I only saw what you saw and I didn’t get the chance to talk to him afterwards. I was with my wife and my daughter and my family. Today’s session was focused on recovering and it happened right at the end of the session. I think he felt a little pain but that’s nothing out of the ordinary, it’s normal. Everyone goes after Neymar. He is always getting kicked and fouled. But our objective is to play collectively, as a team. One player might be singled out for one reason or another but we are a team – that’s how we think and that’s the most important thing. All of us do the best we can for the benefit of everyone else”.
