Martins sees red for message aimed at jailed Rubén Semedo
The Sporting Lisbon star will be suspended for the clash at Porto after displaying his support for the Villarreal defender, arrested in Spain last week.
Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins was sent off after netting a last-minute winger against Moreirense and displaying a message on his shirt in support of Rubén Semedo, who was remanded in custody in Spain last week on charges of illegal detention, possession of a firearm and armed robbery.
Martins will miss the game against Porto this Friday as a result.
The message the 22-year-old revealed read: "With you until the end of the world."
