Qatar under-19 goalkeeper Shehab Mamdouh thought he had the made the vital save in a penalty shoot-out against Iraq to send his side through to next year's AFC under-19 Championships and ran off to celebrate accordingly.

However, the referee pulled the keeper back to tell him the spot kick must be retaken as he had left his line. An infuriated Mamdouh protested and received a second yellow card for his efforts.

With the shoot-out level at 2-2, Qatar skipper Nasser Abdulsalam, who had buried the previous spot-kick, took the gloves off his teammate and stopped Muntadhir Mohammed’s second attempt to seal victory.
