Peruvian side César Vallejo to face match-fixing probe
The second division side are to be the subject of an investigation by the ADFP after visiting side Huaral strolled to a 4-0 victory.
Pervuvian Segunda División side César Vallejo have been cited by the national football association (ADFP) for possible match-fixing after meeting little resistance in recording a 4-0 victory away at Unión Huaran.
César Vallejo are owned by controversial former presidential candidate César Acuña and a Huaran player, Ryan Salazar, reported that his team had been offered a financial incentive to lose the game.
At the end of the match, Huaran's own fans attacked players for an apparent lack of effort during the fixture.
