The home fans have not swiftly forgotten the Argentina striker's move to Juventus and greeted his name with a seething jeer on Sunday.
Napoli's fans were in unforgiving mood when former favourite Gonzalo Higuaín returned to the San Paolo for the first time after his controversial move to arch-rivals Juventus on Sunday.
The home fans jeered the Argentinean's every touch and even had his image printed on toilet paper to mark the return of the "Judas" who abandoned them.
After a subdued performance from his striker, Juve boss Max Allegri explained: "It wasn't an easy night for him because he is a sensitive guy."
