Schweinsteiger receives a rapturous welcome in Chicago

Bastian Schweinsteiger received a hero's welcome as he arrived in Chicago on Wednesday to complete his move from Manchester United to Chicago Fire.
The former Germany international, the holder of 121 international caps, a World Cup, eight Bundesliga titles, seven German cups and a Champions League, had been training in Mallorca while waiting to secure a visa to play in the MLS.
Schweinsteiger will join up with his teamates after completing a medical and could be in line to make his home debut against Montreal on April 1.
