The media in Brazil were in awe of a goal scored by Comercial midfielder Mirray last weekend against Catanduvense in the Paulistao A3 and many have called for the strike to be nominated for the Puskás Award

"Mirray scores the goal that Pelé never managed" read some of the headlines. Mirray came through the ranks at São Paulo and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kaká and Ganso but a serious knee injury hampered his development.

Now at lower-tier Comercial as he feels his way back to full fitness, Mirray, once dubbed the "new Kaká" has bagged two goals in three games, including this spectacular effort.
