Pitch at Lille's Stade Pierre-Mauroy replaced
After Uefa confirmed the surface had suffered irreversible damage a new pitch will be ready for Sunday's Germany vs. Slovakia clash.
Following complaints about the quality of the playing surface at the Lille Stade Pierre-Mauroy stadium, Uefa decided to replace the grass after the Rep. of Ireland vs Italy game.
The new surface will be ready for Sunday's Slovakia vs. Germany last 16 game.
Lille will host one more game of Euro 2016 on July 1st with a quarter final game being the last game in the Northern city.
