Kobe says 'thanks'

LA Lakers Kobe Bryant says he is thankful to have the opportunity to thank current and ex-players for the impact they made on his career as the five-time NBA champions plays his last few competitive games.
The 37 year old announced his retirement from the game back in November with a moving poem to the sport he loves, Dear Basketball.
Bryant's decision was not totally unexpected, given that he has said many times in recent weeks that he has considered making this season his last.
