Rally Dakar 2026: etapas, recorrido, dónde es y cuánto dura la prueba por el desierto
Un repaso a las 13 etapas más el prólogo que conforman la 47ª edición del Rally Dakar, séptima en Arabia Saudí, con principio y fin en Yanbu y 8.000 kilómetros de recorrido.
El Rally Dakar 2026 comienza el 3 de enero en Yambu. Será la séptima edición del raid por tierras de Arabia Saudí y contará con un recorrido de casi 8.000 kilómetros de los cuales 5.000 serán de especial. Finaliza el próximo 17 de enero en la misma ciudad de salida.
Recorrido del Dakar etapa a etapa:
Prologo (sábado 3 de enero): Yanbu-Yanbu, 23 km
Más importante de lo que parece a pesar de su escasa longitud. No deben pasarse por alto los mínimos huecos que se registrarán en el período previo a la ceremonia de la tarde en la que se elegirán los órdenes de salida para el día siguiente. Contará tiempos para las motos pero no para los coches.

Etapa 1 (domingo 4 de enero): Yanbu-Yanbu, 305 km
Esta etapa especial se compone de dos partes diferenciadas: un terreno rocoso y secciones arenosas bastante rápidas con pequeñas dunas. Habrá un pit-stop voluntario a mitad de la especial.

Etapa 2 (lunes 5 de enero): Yanbu-Al Ula, 400 km
Numerosos cambios de ritmo a lo largo de los primeros 200 kilómetros. El paisaje se vuelve rápidamente montañoso y el horizonte es abrupto en todas direcciones. Se mantiene el pit-stop para cambiar neumáticos.

Etapa 4 (miércoles 7 de enero): Al Ula-Refugio Maratón, 417/451 km
Los pilotos y copilotos deberán cuidar su mecánica durante la primera etapa de la etapa maratón-refugio. Dos recorridos y distancias distintos para coches y motos. En la meta, dos campamentos refugio separados acogerán a los corredores. El campamento será muy básico: tiendas de campaña y raciones.

El Rally vuelve a Wadi ad-Dawasir después del año 2022. La etapa especial más larga del año será también una de las más completas de estas dos semanas, con terreno variado.
