La versión de Dead Island para PC en Steam se actualiza con la versión 1.3, que incrementa el nivel máximo que puede alcanzar el jugador: el nivel 60. La actualización también incorpora mejoras técnicas y de interfaz en el videojuego de Techland.

Fix: players are no longer left without a weapon after dropping the equipped item and healing with a medkit.
