El Manchester United apeó al Milan de la Europa League. Pogba, que tanto ha sido discutido en los úlitmos tiempos en su equipo, se erigió de héroe y anotó el único gol del partido de vuelta para clasificar a los suyos a los cuartos de final.

El cruce entre ingleses e italianos era uno de los más interesantes de octavos y no defraudó. En la ida, el United fue ganando hasta que el Milan consiguió el empate en el último suspiro y dejó todas las posibilidades abiertas para San Siro, sin embargo los de Solskjaer se pusieron el mono de trabajo y terminaron por clasificar.
