Raphael Varane has handed Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane a boost after going through a full training session without suffering any ill-effects after his recent injury layoffs.
Varane suffered a hamstring problem that ruled him out for six games and then he picked up an achilles problem just 11 minutes into his comeback against Alaves, causing him to miss another five.
The France defender completed 88 minutes against Depor and was rested for Saturday's 2-1 win over Valencia with the Champions League game against Atlético in mind.
