Guardiola on private jet search: "I suppose they have the power to do that, I don't know..."
Manchester City's manager was asked about having his private plane searched at El Prat airport by Spanish Police.
Manchester City's manager Pep Guardiola says he was no nearer finding an answer as to why Spanish Police decided to conduct a thorough search of his private plane at Barcelona's El Prat airport. Speaking to reporters this afternoon, Guardiola said: "My wife told me what happened - basically what has been published in the press. It was the Police or the Guardia Civil, although I have no knowledge of airport laws – I have no idea. I imagine that they have the authority to do inspect aircraft… They stopped them, had a look around and told their superiors that the family was there, then left and that was it”.
