Neymar may have moved to PSG for a world record fee to move out of the shadow cast by Leo Messi at Barcelona but Edinson Cavani was not ready to bow to market pressure in the Parisian's 3-0 victory over Saint Etienne at the Parc des Princes.
With the score at 0-0 PSG were awarded a penalty and Neymar stepped up to take it, asking the Uruguay forward for the ball.
Canavi, PSG's designated penalty taker, ignored the request and hammered the ball home with considerable gusto.
