Mariano Díaz introduced himself to Ligue 1 with a double in Lyon's 4-0 victory over Strasbourg on Saturday, a result that sent Les Gones to the top of Ligue 1.

The former Real Madrid striker, sold during the summer, reminded his old club what he was capable of by hitting the net in the 23rd and 61st minutes as Strasbourg were put to the sword in the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Nabil Fekir completed the rout, adding two himself including one from the spot.
